Procedure 1 Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the screw holes on the hard-drive bracket. 2 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive. 3 Slide and connect the hard-drive assembly to the connector on the system board. 4 Align the screw holes on the hard-drive assembly with the screw holes on the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 5 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the palm rest and keyboard assembly. Post-requisites 1 Replace the battery. 2 Follow the procedure from step 2 to step 5 in "Replacing the base cover". 36

Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.

palm rest and keyboard assembly.
