Procedure 1 Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the I/O board. 2 Peel off the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons board cable to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board cable from the I/O board. 4 Remove the power and volume-buttons board cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly. 5 Remove the screw that secures the power and volume-buttons board to the palm-rest assembly. 64

Procedure

Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the I/O board.

Peel off the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons board cable
to the palm-rest assembly.
3
Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board cable from the I/O
board.
4
Remove the power and volume-buttons board cable from the routing
guides on the palm-rest assembly.
5
Remove the screw that secures the power and volume-buttons board to
the palm-rest assembly.
