Procedure CAUTION: Place the computer on a soft and clean surface to avoid scratching the display. 1 With the display facing down, align the screw holes on the display hinges with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly. 2 Replace the screws that secure the display assembly to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Turn the computer over and close the display. Post-requisites 1 Replace the system board. 2 Replace the heat sink. 3 Replace the solid-state drive. 4 Replace the memory module. 5 Replace the wireless card. 6 Replace the battery. 7 Replace the base cover. 80

Procedure
CAUTION: Place the computer on a soft and clean surface to avoid
scratching the display.

With the display facing down, align the screw holes on the display hinges
with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
2
Replace the screws that secure the display assembly to the palm-rest
assembly.
3
Turn the computer over and close the display.
