Procedure 1 Disconnect the optical-drive data cable and power cable from the optical-drive assembly. 2 Remove the two screws (M2x2) that secure the optical-drive assembly to the chassis. 3 Slide and remove the optical-drive assembly from its slot on the chassis. 4 Insert a pin into the optical-drive emergency eject pinhole to release the optical-drive tray. 5 Gently pull to open the optical-drive tray from the optical-drive assembly. Disconnect the optical-drive data cable and power cable from the optical-drive assembly.
2
Remove the two screws (M2x2) that secure the optical-drive assembly to the chassis.
3
Slide and remove the optical-drive assembly from its slot on the chassis.
