Product Overview Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT) allows companies to manage their networked computers easily. Discover computing assets on a network, regardless of whether the computer is turned On or Off - Intel AMT uses information stored in the non-volatile system memory to access the computer. The computer can be accessed even while it is powered Off (also called out-of-band or OOB access). Remotely repair systems after operating system failures - In the event of a software or an operating system failure, Intel AMT can be used to access the computer remotely for repair purposes. IT administrators can also detect system problems easily with the assistance of Intel AMT's OOB event logging and alerting.
