Interface READ Request Details (Continued) Parameter Type - outOctets - outUcastPkts - outDiscards - outErrors - interfaceMax - descriptionMax offset integer limit integer Description The total number of octets transmitted out of the interface, including framing characters. The total number of packets that higher-level protocols requested be transmitted. The number of outbound packets which were chosen to be discarded. For packet-oriented interfaces, the number of outbound packets that could not be transmitted because of errors. Ancillary request parameter to get the maximum number of interfaces possible for the given platform, i.e., CPU slots, LAG, VLAN, Loopback, Tunnel, Stack, and Service Port interfaces.
