Follow the procedures in Working on Your Computer. 2. Remove the computer cover (see Removing the Computer Cover). 3. Remove the heat sink assembly and processor (see Removing the Processor). 4. Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board). 5. Disconnect the diagnostics lights cable from the fan assembly. 6. Press the tab that secures the fan to computer chassis and push the fan away from the computer chassis. 7.
