NOTE: In the Dell EMC Networking OS best-path selection process, the path with the highest weight value is preferred. If you configure the set weight command in a route map applied to this neighbor, the weight set in that command overrides the weight set in the neighbor weight command. Related Commands • set weight - assign a weight to all paths meeting the route map criteria. network Specify the networks for the BGP process and enter them in the BGP routing table. Syntax Parameters network ip-address mask [route-map map-name] To remove a network, use the no network ip-address mask [route-map map-name] command. ip-address mask route-map mapname Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format of the network. Enter the mask of the IP address in the slash prefix length format (for example, /24). The mask appears in command outputs in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D). (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map then the name of an established route map. Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are supported: • match ip address • set community • set local-preference • set metric • set next-hop • set origin • set weight If the route map is not configured, the default is deny (to drop all routes). Commands

— assign a weight to all paths meeting the route map criteria.

Specify the networks for the BGP process and enter them in the BGP routing table.

Syntax

ip-address

Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format of the network.

mask

Enter the mask of the IP address in the slash prefix length format (for example, /24).

The mask appears in command outputs in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
