Usage Information When one upstream interface in an uplink-state group goes down, you can configure the number of downstream interfaces in an uplink-state group are put into a link-down state with an UFD-Disabled error message. If all upstream interfaces in an uplink-state group go down, all downstream interfaces in the same uplink-state group are put into a link-down state. Syntax

downstream disable links {

To revert to the default setting, use the

no downstream disable links

command.

Parameters

number

Enter the number of downstream links the UFD brings down. The range is from 1 to 1024.

all

Brings down all downstream links in the group.

Defaults

No downstream links are disabled when an upstream link in an uplink-state group goes down.

Usage Information

When one upstream interface in an uplink-state group goes down, you can configure the number of downstream

interfaces in an uplink-state group are put into a link-down state with an UFD-Disabled error message.

If all upstream interfaces in an uplink-state group go down, all downstream interfaces in the same uplink-state

group are put into a link-down state.
