CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the computer stand). Removing the Webcam 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board). 3. Remove the support assembly (see Removing the Support Assembly). 4. Remove the two screws that secure the webcam to the LCD panel. 5. Disconnect the cable to the webcam. 6. Lift the webcam away from the LCD panel. 1 webcam cable 2 screws (2) Replacing the Webcam 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Reconnect the cable to the webcam. 3. Replace the two screws that secure the webcam to the LCD panel. 4. Removing the Webcam
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the system board (see
Removing the System Board
).
3.
Remove the support assembly (see
Removing the Support Assembly
).
4.
Remove the two screws that secure the webcam to the LCD panel.
5.
Disconnect the cable to the webcam.
6.
Lift the webcam away from the LCD panel.
