Installing the Keyboard 1. Connect the keyboard cable to the system board. 2. Insert the keyboard at an angle of 30 degrees to its compartment. 3. Press down on the keyboard until it clicks into place. 4. Install the battery. 5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer. Removing the Optical Drive 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Remove the keyboard. 4. Remove the screw that secures the optical drive. 5. Use a flat-headed screw driver to pry the optical drive. Slide the optical drive outwards and remove it from the computer. 13

Installing the Keyboard
1.
Connect the keyboard cable to the system board.
2.
Insert the keyboard at an angle of 30 degrees to its compartment.
