Installing the Optical Drive 1. Slide the optical drive into the compartment on the left side of the chassis. 2. Tighten the screw to secure the optical drive to the computer. 3. Install the keyboard. 4. Install the battery. 5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer. Removing the Memory Module 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Remove the keyboard. 4. Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops up. 5. Installing the Optical Drive
1.
Slide the optical drive into the compartment on the left side of the chassis.
2.
Tighten the screw to secure the optical drive to the computer.
3.
Install the keyboard.
4.
Install the battery.

Removing the Memory Module
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the battery.
3.
Remove the keyboard.
4.
Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops up.
5.
Remove the memory module from the computer.
