Installing the Keyboard 1. Connect the keyboard cable to the system board. 2. Place the keyboard back to its original position. 3. Tighten the screw to secure the keyboard to the computer. 4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer. Removing the Palmrest 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove: a) access panel b) keyboard c) display hinge cover 3. Using a plastic scribe pry out the rubber pads that cover the front screws on the base cover. 4. Remove the screws that secure the palmrest to the computer. 14

Installing the Keyboard
1.
Connect the keyboard cable to the system board.
2.
Place the keyboard back to its original position.
3.
Tighten the screw to secure the keyboard to the computer.

3.
