Installing the I/O board Prerequisites If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure. Align and place the I/O board on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 2. Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 3. Connect the I/O-board cable and close the latch to secure the cable to the I/O board. 4. Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the fan. 5.
