For best results, it is strongly recommended to measure 6 positions so that the measurements have the proper spatial weighting. Even if the listening environment is small as shown in GExample wH, measuring at multiple points throughout the listening environment results in more effective correction. n When using Front Height Speakers GExample qH GExample wH FHL FL SW C FR FHR FHL FL SW C FR FHR n When Using the Front Wide Speakers GExample qH FL SW C FR GExample wH FL SW C FR FWL FWR FWL FWR ( : Measuring positions) *M *M SL SR SL SR FL : Front speaker (L) FR : Front speaker (R) FHL : Front height speaker (L) FHR : Front height speaker (R) FWL : Front wide speaker (L) FWR : Front wide speaker (R) C : Center speaker SW : Subwoofer SL : Surround speaker (L) SR : Surround speaker (R) SBL : Surround back speaker (L) SBR : Surround back speaker (R) Check the Measuring Results and Equalizer Type after Audyssey Auto Setup (Parameter Check) ( : Measuring positions) About the main listening position (*M) The main listening position refers to the most central position where one would normally sit within the listening environment.
