Front Surround Effect, etc. Subwoofer Center ENGLISH Connecting the external input (EXT. IN) jacks • These input jacks are for inputting multi-channel audio signals in high definition MUSE 3-1 format, multi-channel audio signals from an MPEG multi-channel decoder, or future multi-channel sound format, etc. • When making connections, also refer to the operating instructions of the other components. When connecting a high definition (MUSE 3-1 format) component, use a separately sold mono/stereo cable if the surround channel output is monaural. Decoder with 8- or 6-channel analog output * For instructions on playback using the external input (EXT. IN) jacks, see page 43. Connecting the MULTI SOURCE jacks • If another pre-main (integrated) amplifier is connected, the multi-source jacks can be used to play a different program source in another room at the same time.
