DX-DVD2 2 If this is the first time you will be using the remote control, remove the plastic insulation sheet that covers the battery. -ORIf you are replacing the battery, remove the old battery and insert a new lithium coin cell battery (CR2025) into the battery tray. Make sure that you match the + symbol on the battery with the + symbol on the battery tray. 3 Replace the battery tray. Notes: • Do not mix batteries of different types. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Remove batteries when the charge is depleted. • Battery chemicals can cause a rash. If the batteries leak, clean the battery compartment with a cloth. If chemicals touch your skin, wash immediately. • If the remote control is not going to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries.

Installing remote control batteries
To install the remote control battery:

Open the battery tray.

If you are replacing the battery, remove the old battery and insert a new lithium coin
cell battery (CR2025) into the battery tray. Make sure that you match the + symbol on

Replace the battery tray.

:
