8-pin ATX 12V Power (PW12) PW12, the 8-pin ATX 12V power connection, is used to provide power to the CPU. Align the pins to the connector and press firmly until seated. Connecting SATA Cables The SATA II connector is used to connect the SATA II device to the motherboard. These connectors support the thin SATA II cables for primary storage devices. The current SATA II interface allows up to 300MB/s data transfer rate. There are six (6) internal SATA connectors on this motherboard. Connection points SATA0 - SATA5, are controlled by the South Bridge Chipset. These connection points support RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 10 configurations. There are also two (2) SATA 6Gbps Connectors on the motherboard. Connection points SATA6 and SATA7 Which connect to SATA 6Gbps capable devices and allow a maximum transfer rate of up to 6Gbps. Connecting SATA Cables
The SATA II connector is used to connect the SATA II device to the motherboard.
These connectors support the thin SATA II cables for primary storage devices. The
current SATA II interface allows up to 300MB/s data transfer rate.
