Connecting the Scanner to a SCSI Interface In order to use the SCSI connection, you need to make sure your computer has a SCSI board and any necessary SCSI software installed. Then follow these steps to connect the scanner: 1. Make sure the scanner is off. 2. If you have another SCSI device that uses SCSI ID 2, turn the SCSI ID switch on the back of the scanner to a new number. Do not use 0, 1, or 7. 3. Unless your scanner is connected in the middle of a SCSI chain, leave the terminator switch on the back of the scanner turned On. 4. Squeeze the lock releases on your SCSI cable, and plug it into either SCSI connector on the back of the scanner. Connect the other end of the cable to the SCSI port on your computer. Connecting the Scanner to a SCSI Interface

1.
Make sure the scanner is off.
2.
If you have another SCSI device that
uses SCSI ID 2, turn the SCSI ID
switch on the back of the scanner to a
