Connecting a Component Video Source You will need a special cable to connect your component video equipment to the VGA-style connector on the projector. You can order a component-to-VGA cable (part number ELPKC19) from Epson; see page 10 for more information. 1. Locate a component-to-VGA cable. 2. Connect the cable to your player and the Computer 1 or Computer 2 connector on the projector. Component-to-VGA cable 3. You may need to change the Input Signal setting in the projector's Signal menu to Component (see page 51). 4. To play sound, you can connect an optional stereo mini-jack audio cable and optional external speakers (see page 21). 5. When you've finished making any connections, see page 24 for instructions on turning on the projector and Chapter 2 for instructions on displaying and adjusting the image. note Be sure your video player is not an RGB video source. If you select the wrong source, image quality may suffer. Check your video player's documentation. Connecting a Component Video Source
You will need a special cable to connect your component video
equipment to the VGA-style connector on the projector. You can

Locate a component-to-VGA cable.
2.
Connect the cable to your player and the
Computer 1

Computer 2
connector on the projector.
3.

4.
