Setting up your SF-510/SF-710 Tap Tap the product screen to perform any of the following functions. You can adjust these settings via the Tap option in the Measure set. menu. See "Measurement settings" on page 80. Function Lap Light Screen Chg. OFF* Description Records the lap. You can also record a lap by pressing D while measuring. Turns on the light. The light turns on for approximately 10 seconds. You can also turn on the light by pressing B. Changes between the four measurement screens. You can also switch between measurement screens by pressing A. Turns off tap operations. *indicates the default setting. Note: O The tap function may not work if you tap the screen repeatedly. Make sure you leave a gap of approximately one second between taps. O When biking, the tap function may trigger due to bumps in the road surface. Change the setting to OFF when biking to prevent this. Mode Chronograph Interval Goal Interval Goal Alarm description When the lap is paused When measuring is stopped When measuring restarts When you are off your target pace When you have set multiple target paces and the target pace changes When switching between sprint and recovery intervals When the total number of sets is reached When 50/90% of the set time or distance is reached When the set time or distance is complete Note: O You can change the alarm tone or volume, or turn the alarm off via the Alarm option in the System set. or Measure set. menus.
