SC-F6400 Series/SC-F6400H Series User's Guide Basic Operations Use a scale that can measure in increments of at least 0.5 mm (0.02 in.). We also recommend using a scale that can measure at least 500 mm (20.0 in.). E The screen for entering confirmation results for the adjustment pattern is displayed. When Manual(Standard) is selected Set the values printed under the patterns selected in A and B, and then press OK. When Manual(Measurement) is selected Set the values measured in step 4 for #1 and #2 respectively, and then press OK. When adjustments are complete, the Home screen is displayed. Adjusting the Amount of Media Fed While Printing You can perform fine adjustments for the amount of media fed while printing. Adjusting while printing allows you to quickly check the adjustment results. A During printing, press the following area on the home screen (adjust while printing). If the home screen (adjust while printing) is not displayed, press (switch screens) on the home screen. B Press / on the screen, or press the / buttons on the control panel to change the value. If the feed amount is too small, black bands (dark stripes) appear; press the (or button) to adjust the feed amount upwards. In contrast, if the feed amount is too large, white bands (pale stripes) appear; press the (or button) to adjust the feed amount downwards. C Check the printing result. If you are not satisfied with the results, use the / , or the / buttons on the control panel to change the value. The setting for the currently selected registered media number is updated. D Press to return to the home screen. Note: The results of changing the settings are un-done if you perform any of the following operations. ❏ Restart Media Feed Adjustment. ❏ Execute Clear All Data and Settings. When you have finished the target printing, we recommend performing Print Adjustments from the settings menu.
