Parent topic: Solving Scanned Image Quality Problems Scanned Image Edges are Cropped If the edges of a scanned image are cropped, make sure your original is placed correctly for scanning. If necessary, move your original away from the edges of the scanner glass slightly. If you notice size problems in a copied, scanned, or faxed image, turn off the Original Size Auto Detection (Glass) setting in the Settings > General Settings > Basic Settings menu. Make sure the product is out of direct sunlight. Otherwise, your faxes might be rejected by the recipient's fax machine. 310
