When the CPU speed is slowing down, the temperature will drop as well. ► C1E Support C1E represents Enhanced HALT State. It is a feature which CPU uses to reduce power consumption when in halt state. C1E drops the CPU's multiplier and voltage to lower levels when a HLT (halt) command is issued. This item is used to enable/disable the C1E support. ► Advanced Clock Calibration This option is used to select the calibration mode for CPU cores. Select [Disabled], BIOS will turn off this function (Default Value); Select [Auto], BIOS will automatically determine to calibrate or not. Select [All Cores], all cores will be calibrated at the same rate. Select [Per Core], you can set different calibration rate for every core. ! This menu shows most of the CPU specifications.
► Cool ‘N‘ Quiet
(Appear only when CPU supports)
This option helps lowering down the CPU frequency and voltage when system is idling. When
the CPU speed is slowing down, the temperature will drop as well.
► C1E Support
C1E represents Enhanced HALT State. It is a feature which CPU uses to reduce power
consumption when in halt state. C1E drops the CPU’s multiplier and voltage to lower levels
when a HLT (halt) command is issued. This item is used to enable/disable the C1E support.
► Advanced Clock Calibration
This option is used to select the calibration mode for CPU cores. Select [Disabled], BIOS
will turn off this function (Default Value); Select [Auto], BIOS will automatically determine to
calibrate or not. Select [All Cores], all cores will be calibrated at the same rate. Select [Per
Core], you can set different calibration rate for every core.
