Chapter 4: Installing Components Installing a local control panel (LCP) To install a local control panel: 1 Follow the instructions in "Preventing static electricity discharge" on page 41. 2 Follow the instructions in "Opening the server case" on page 42. 3 Follow the instructions in "Removing the bezel assembly" on page 44. 4 Remove the filler panel from an empty 5.25-inch drive bay by pressing and holding the two locking clips inward, then pulling the filler panel assembly out of the bay. 5 Remove the drive rails from the filler panel assembly. 6 Attach the drive rails to the LCP panel tray by pressing the rails firmly into the dimples on each side of the tray. 64 www.gateway.com
