Chapter 7: Using Multimedia Using a memory card To insert a memory card: 1 Insert the memory card into the memory card slot with the label facing up and the arrow on the label pointing towards your notebook. Important Insert the SmartMedia card with the label facing down. Your notebook only accepts 3.3V SmartMedia cards. 2 To access a file on the memory card in Windows XP, click Start, then click My Computer. Double-click the drive letter (for example, the E: drive), then double-click the file name. - OR - To access a file on the memory card in Windows 2000, double-click the My Computer icon, the drive letter (for example, the E: drive), then double-click the file name. 134 www.gateway.com
