14 Quick Start Guide 7. Make Your First Call 1. Press the CALL button. 2. Enter the phone number or name of the contact you want to call. Note If you have added or imported contacts to your phone, matching contacts will appear on the Smart Dial list. Tap a contact in the list to make the call or continue entering the phone number. 3. Press the CALL button to make the call. Tip During a call, press the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on the left panel of the phone to adjust the in-call volume. 4. When finished, press the END CALL/POWER button. To check missed calls When you have missed calls, you will see the missed call icon ( ) in the status bar. To check who the caller was, touch and hold the status bar, then drag your finger downward on the screen to open the Notifications panel. To call voicemail After you have configured your voicemail number and settings provided to you by your wireless service provider, access and retrieve your voicemail messages by pressing and holding the number 1 key on the Phone dialer. Follow voice prompts to proceed.

7. Make Your First Call
1.
Press the CALL button.
2.
Enter the phone number
or name of the contact you
want to call.
Note
If you have added or
imported contacts to your
phone, matching contacts
will appear on the Smart
Dial list. Tap a contact in
the list to make the call
or continue entering the
phone number.

Press the CALL button to make the call.
Tip
During a call, press the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons
on the left panel of the phone to adjust the in-call
volume.

When finished, press the END CALL/POWER button.
To check missed calls
When you have missed calls, you will see the missed call
icon (
) in the status bar. To check who the caller was,
touch and hold the status bar, then drag your finger
downward on the screen to open the Notifications
panel.
To call voicemail
After you have configured your voicemail number
and settings provided to you by your wireless service
provider, access and retrieve your voicemail messages
by pressing and holding the number 1 key on the Phone
dialer. Follow voice prompts to proceed.
