Before You Turn On Your Phone 1 Remove the back cover With the phone facing down, press the back cover with your thumbs, and then slide it up until it disengages from the phone. 2 Remove the battery Pull the film on top of the battery to lift and remove the battery from the compartment. Discard the film. For subsequent removals, lift the battery from the groove on top of the battery compartment. 3 Insert the SIM card 1. Slide the SIM card holder to the right to unlock it, and then flip it open. 2. Insert the SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and its cut-off corner facing out the card holder. Slide the SIM card completely into the card holder.

Remove the battery
Pull the film on top of the battery
to lift and remove the battery from
the compartment. Discard the film.
For subsequent removals, lift the
battery from the groove on top of
the battery compartment.

Insert the SIM card

Slide the SIM card holder to
the right to unlock it, and then
flip it open.
