STEP 6 - CONNECT VENT SYSTEM (NON‑VENTED INSTALLATION ONLY) IMPORTANT: If the air deflector is not installed correctly, air will flow freely inside the vent duct covers instead of being forced out of the vent openings on the side of the vent duct cover. 1. Using the four screws (provided) in the Recirculation Kit, fasten the air deflector to the duct cover bracket. a a b a Assembly Screws b Air Deflector c Duct Cover Bracket c 2. Measure from the bottom of the air deflector to the bottom of the hood exhaust outlet. a b d Xc a Air deflector e b Vent clamp c X = length to cut vent duct d Vent duct e Exhaust outlet 3. Cut the duct to the measured size (X). 4. Remove the air deflector. 5. Slide the duct onto the bottom of the air deflector. 6. Place the assembled air deflector and duct over the exhaust outlet from the hood. 7. Using the four screws removed in Step 4, reattach the air deflector to the duct cover bracket. 8. Seal connections with vent clamps. 12

STEP 6 - CONNECT VENT SYSTEM

IMPORTANT:
If the air deflector is not installed correctly, air will flow freely inside the
vent duct covers instead of being forced out of the vent openings on the side of the
vent duct cover.

Using the four screws (provided) in the Recirculation Kit, fasten the air deflector
to the duct cover bracket.

Measure from the bottom of the air deflector to the bottom of the hood exhaust
outlet.

Cut the duct to the measured size (X).
4.
Remove the air deflector.
5.
Slide the duct onto the bottom of the air deflector.

hood.

Using the four screws removed in Step 4, reattach the air deflector to the duct
cover bracket.
8.
Seal connections with vent clamps.
