Guide on food preservation Clean food with water droplets wiped off could be stored in the refrigerator It is prohibited to store live creatures, drug, flowers etc. While food is being preserved, it is required to keep 1-3cm between food and inner wall of refrigerator, which is good for cold air circulation. There should be left enough space among food for cold air circulation. Food should be sealed and packaged before it is stored, which could not only prevent moisture from loss, but also avoid mixing of taste. Proper package material should be used; such material must be poinsonless, tasteless, airproof and waterproof. Food should be placed by sorts, particularly for retail cooked food such as meat and fish which should not be preserved for prolonged time. When storing food, pay more attention on the storage term marked by manufacturer.
