PRECISION ADJUSTMENT FOR TONE ARM AND STYLUS PRESSURE: The stylus pressure is set at the factory for the correct pressure on the cartridge used. No .further adjustment should be necessary unless the pressure adjustment is inadvertently changed. TONE ARM COUNTER BALANCE ADJUSTMENT (Refer to Figure 2): 1. Turn stylus pressure control to zero. 2. Release weight clamping screw. 3. Slide pick-up balance weight to approximate point where pick-up arm floats freely and tighten screw. 4. For further fine vernier adjustment, rotate pick-up balance weight until arm is exactly balanced. STYLUS PRESSURE: Rotate stylus pressure control dial to desired pressure in grams; recommended pressure is 2 1/2 to 3 grams. NOTE: Control dial provides for adjustment from 0 to 6 grams, in steps of 1/3 grams indicated by audible clicks while dialing.
