NOTE: If the vacuum levels do not change when the valves are changed, the saddle position should be checked to assure that the vacuum pick-up of the STRATUM is in the correct location relative to the pump suction inlet. (See Figure 1 and Illustrations below) Pump Operating in: Stable Vacuum in Unprotected Mode POOL Mode Fully open suction through Main Drains & Open Skimmers.......... ________ Dedicated Suction Lines Closed Heater bypass fully open All pool returns/water features fully open SPA Mode Fully open suction through Main Drains & Open Skimmers.......... Heater bypass fully open All spa returns/water features fully open ________ Add 5" to higher non-blocked recorded suction value to be used as the "High Vac Value" (Page 14). If possible check to assure the fully blocked suction is above the "High Vac Value". Correct Installation of Saddle Fitting No valves between the pump and the saddle fitting . PUMP SADDLE FITTING Do Not Install the Saddle fitting in the positions marked with an X. There would be a valve between the pump and the saddle fitting.
