Preparing and Installing the Rails

There are two types of rack-mountable rails:

Adjustable fixed rails

Preparing the Adjustable Fixed Rail.
Components mounted with adjustable fixed rails are typically designed to slide into
the rack one time for initial installation.

Loosen the wing nuts (1) and extend the rail-mounting brackets to the desired
length (2).
