Software overview NOTE If the appropriate language does not appear in the Language drop-down list, follow these instructions to add additional language support: 1. Click the Languages tab. 2. In the Supplemental language support section, click the check box to select one or both of the following options: - Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages. This option installs Arabic, Armenian, Georgian, Hebrew, Indic, Thai, and Vietnamese language support. - Install files for East Asian languages. This option installs Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language support. 3. You are prompted to provide the operating system CD and to restart your computer after the selected files have been installed. When your computer restarts, continue with step 3 in Setting regional settings for Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Changes to regional settings affect only the languages your computer supports. The HP Color LaserJet 1600 printing-system software does not support all of the languages your computer supports. For a list of the languages that the HP Color LaserJet 1600 printingsystem software supports, see Software-component localization. 4. Click the Advanced tab and select the appropriate language from the Language for non-Unicode programs drop-down list. 5. Click the Default User Account Settings check box, and then click OK. 6.
