8. Remove the base enclosure (2). Reverse this procedure to install the base enclosure. Speakers Description Speaker Kit (includes left and right speakers and cable) Spare part number 639484-001 Before removing the speakers, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33), and then remove the following components: a. Service cover (see Solid-state module on page 34) b. Solid-state module (see Solid-state module on page 34) c. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 38) d. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 47) e. Base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 52) Remove the speakers: 1. Turn the base enclosure right side up, with the rear panel toward you. 2.
