Before removing the connector board cables, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29). 2. Remove the top cover/keyboard (see Top cover/keyboard on page 29). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 34). Remove the connector board cables: 1. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connectors (1) to which the connector board cables are connected, and then disconnect the connector board cables from the system board. 2. Release the ZIF connectors (2) to which the connector board cables are connected, and then disconnect the connector board cables from the connector board. 3. Remove the connector board cables. Remove the connector board cables:
1.

to which the connector board cables are connected, and then disconnect the
connector board cables from the connector board.
3.
Remove the connector board cables.
Reverse this procedure to install the connector board cables.
