System board, Remove the connector board I/O bracket

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29). 2. Remove the top cover/keyboard (see Top cover/keyboard on page 29). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 34). Remove the connector board: 1. Release the ZIF connectors (1) to which the connector board cables are connected, and then disconnect the connector board cables from the system board. 2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.2 screws (2) that secure the connector board to the computer. 3. Remove the connector board I/O bracket (3). The connector board I/O bracket is available using spare part number L89793-001. 4. Remove the connector board (4). Reverse this procedure to install the connector board.
