6. Insert a keyboard release tool or similar non-conductive tool into the rear corner screw holes (1) and (2), and then release the keyboard/top cover. 7. Turn the computer right side up with the rear toward you. 8. Open the computer as far as it will open. 9. Swing the keyboard/top cover (1) up and back as far as the keyboard and TouchPad cables allow. 10. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (2) to which the TouchPad cable is connected, and then disconnect the TouchPad cable from the system board. 11.
