Keyboard webcam module cable NOTE: The keyboard webcam module spare part kit does not include the keyboard webcam module cable. The keyboard webcam module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number L53204-001. Before removing the keyboard webcam module cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 25). 5. Remove the keyboard webcam module (see Keyboard webcam module on page 32). Remove the keyboard webcam module cable: 1. Turn the keyboard webcam module upside with the front toward you. 2. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the keyboard webcam module cable is connected. 3. Disconnect the keyboard webcam module cable (2) from the keyboard webcam module. Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard webcam module cable. Component replacement procedures 33

Keyboard webcam module cable
NOTE:
The keyboard webcam module spare part kit does not include the keyboard webcam module cable. The
keyboard webcam module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number L53204-001.
Before removing the keyboard webcam module cable, follow these steps:
1.

).
Remove the keyboard webcam module cable:
1.
Turn the keyboard webcam module upside with the front toward you.
2.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the keyboard webcam module cable is connected.
3.
Disconnect the keyboard webcam module cable
(2)
from the keyboard webcam module.
Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard webcam module cable.
