Troubleshooting Information Table E-6: Is the IMD On or Does the Server Have Video? Answer Yes No Possible Reasons Video may not be connected properly. Switches may not be set correctly on the system board. A processor may have failed. A nonbootable memory configuration may be present. The Next Step Video is available for diagnosis. Determine the next action by observing POST progress and error messages. Refer to the HP Servers Troubleshooting Guide for a complete description of each POST error message. Is a video board installed? Make sure that the video cable is properly connected. Verify the video connections. Refer to the HP Servers Troubleshooting Guide. Verify the switch settings on the system board. Refer to "Switches" in Appendix D. If Cartridge Power LEDs for all installed memory cartridges are blinking, and selected DIMM status LEDs are blinking, refer to Table E-8. Are there any audible indicators, such as a series of beeps? A series of beeps are the audible signal indicating the presence of a POST error message.
