Blinks Wi-Fi signal bars cycle. Wi-Fi status The wireless capability of the printer is off. To turn on Wi-Fi, press the Wi-Fi button . The printer is connected to a Wi-Fi network. The signal bars indicate the Wi-Fi signal strength of the network that the printer is connected to. The printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode or is trying to connect to a Wi-Fi network. ● A blinking Wi-Fi light indicates that the printer is not connected to a network or is trying to connect. ● During printer setup, a blinking Wi-Fi light also indicates that the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode. In setup mode, the Wi-Fi light blinks blue, the Wi-Fi signal bars cycle, and the Wi-Fi alert is off. If the setup mode times out after some time, try pressing the Wi-Fi button to turn it back on. If this does not work, you can restart the setup mode by resetting the printer network settings. See Restore original factory defaults and settings. The printer is in the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) mode. Blinks Fast blinks three times and returns to its prior state. Blinks Wi-Fi icon blinks in sync with Wi-Fi light. The wireless capability of the printer is disabled. Change the wireless settings. See Change Wi-Fi settings from EWS. There is no Wi-Fi signal. ● Make sure your wireless router or access point is powered on. ● Wi-Fi alert is on. ● Move the printer closer to the router. ● Wi-Fi signal bars cycle.
