Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 24). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 25). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 27). Remove the fingerprint reader: 1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (1) that secures the fingerprint reader bracket, and then remove the bracket (2). 2. Disconnect the fingerprint reader cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (3). 3. Remove the fingerprint reader (4). Reverse this procedure to install the fingerprint reader.
