NFC and Smart Card (select products only) Component Description (1) Smart card reader Supports optional Smart cards. (2) Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna* and Send and receive wireless signals to communicate and transfer NFC tapping area data/info to and from your NFC-compatible devices. For more information, see Sharing using NFC (select products only) on page 21. *The antenna is not visible from the outside of the keyboard. For optimal transmission, keep the areas immediately around the antenna free from obstructions.
