3. Lift the left side of the hard drive cover (2), swing it forward, and remove the cover (3). The hard drive cover is included in the plastics kit, spare part number 600190-001. 4. Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws (1) that secure the hard drive to the computer. 5. 6. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board. 7. Remove the hard drive. 8. If it is necessary to replace the hard drive bracket, remove the four Phillips PM3.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the hard drive bracket to the hard drive 9. Lift the bracket (2) straight up. Lift the top edge of the backlight cover (2) and swing it outward. 13. Remove the backlight cover. 14. Turn the display panel right-side up. 15. Remove the backlight cables (1) from the clip (2) in the display panel. 16. Turn the display panel upside-down. WARNING! The backlight contains mercury.
