Component Writing head ITM drum PIP drum WHS general Procedure ● Clean writing head window. ● Check writing head focus by printing the WH quality job. Adjust the writing head as necessary. ● Check writing head leveling by printing the WH quality job. Adjust the writing head as necessary. ● Check the de-skew by printing the WH quality job. Adjust the writing head as necessary. ● Clean ITM Slip rings in front and back with Q-tip and IPA. ● Wipe ITM surface and shoulders using a lint-free wipe with IPA. ● Clean ITM, PIP and blanket IR sensors. ● Verify ITM, PIP and blanket IR sensors readings (replace if necessary). ● Check bias and thermostat carbon brushes. Replace if necessary. ● Wipe the PIP Drum shoulders using a lint-free wipe with IMO. ● Check carbon brushes and replace if necessary. ● Clean all Nips and rollers using warm water. ● Inspect all belts for cracks and verify tension, adjust if necessary ● Verify that the electrostatic brush hair is straight and ~1 mm from the substrate ● Clean the Impression drum using a lint-free wipe with IPA. ● Check 2nd transfer calibration only if the press has known PQ or scaling issues. ● Grease the WHS, see Appendix C - Greasing the WHS on page 15. 8 Chapter 2 Procedures
