Appendix B Example Hard Disk Setup using fdisk The following is an example for how to use fdisk to configure a drive. This procedure assumes you used the DOS utility fdisk/mbr to erase the master boot record at the beginning of installation. If not, you must do so before proceeding. See "Preinstallation."
