Chapter 12 Information Assistant Overview The HP NetServer Online Documentation CD-ROM includes Information Assistant, which contains the entire set of documentation for your NetServer LPr. Information Assistant provides a quick and efficient means to locate information about installing, managing, and servicing your NetServer LPr. It has complete documentation on the NetServer and accessories, important information on your NOS and reference information such as functional descriptions and technical papers to help you better understand your NetServer and make choices compatible with your network. Using Information Assistant Information Assistant has many features that help you quickly find the information you need. The following is a brief description of these features. To understand how to use each function, use the Information Assistant help system. Restart from the HP NetServer Online Documentation CD-ROM on the NetServer and run Information Assistant, or install Information Assistant as an application program on a Windows client machine (see the section "Installing HP Information Assistant Software" in this chapter). Overview

HP NetServer Online Documentation CD-ROM
includes Information
Assistant, which contains the entire set of documentation for your NetServer LPr.
Information Assistant provides a quick and efficient means to locate information
about installing, managing, and servicing your NetServer LPr. It has complete
documentation on the NetServer and accessories, important information on your
NOS and reference information such as functional descriptions and technical
papers to help you better understand your NetServer and make choices
compatible with your network.
Using Information Assistant
