Special keys NOTE: Refer to the illustration that most closely matches your computer. Component (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) Gaming macro keys (select products only) esc key fn key Windows key Action keys INSERT/Airplane mode key (also referred to as the wireless button) OMEN key Description Allow you to create different gaming key combinations when used alone or with the fn, ctrl, alt, or shift keys. NOTE: See HP OMEN Command Center on page 18 for more information. Displays system information when pressed in combination with the fn key. Executes specific functions when pressed in combination with another key. Opens the Start menu. NOTE: Pressing the Windows key again will close the Start menu. Execute frequently used system functions. Turns the insert mode on or off. - or - Turns the airplane mode on or off. ▲ Press and hold the key in combination with the fn key. NOTE: A wireless network must be set up before a wireless connection is possible. Opens the OMEN Command Center software. (8) END/PRT SC key Turns the END mode on or off. - or - Prints the screen image. Keyboard area 13
