Description HD 5470/512 MB discrete system board with card reader HD UMA system board HD 5430/1 GB discrete system board with card reader HD 545v/512 MB discrete system board with card reader (for model 1.0 only) Spare part number 597673-001 597674-001 610160-001 610161-001 When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board: ● RTC battery (see RTC battery on page 51) ● Memory modules (see Memory module on page 50) ● WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 48) ● Modem module (see Modem module on page 63) Before removing the system board: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn on the computer, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first disconnecting the power cord from the AC outlet and then disconnecting the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 42). 5. Remove the following components: a. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 43) b. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 46) c. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 48) d. Memory module (see Memory module on page 50) e. RTC battery (see RTC battery on page 51) f. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 53) g. Before removing the system board:
1.
