BIOS Interface Mode When Auto is selected as the BIOS Interface Mode, CLI mode is automatically selected for this POST only if the keyboard buffer receives characters from the serial port instead of the keyboard. When Command-Line is selected, CLI mode is automatically enabled. Server Asset Text menu The Server Asset Text menu includes options that customize the system-specific text for the server. The following menu options are available: • "Set Server Info Text" (page 178) • "Set Administrator Info Text" (page 178) • "Set Service Contact Text" (page 179) • "Custom POST Message" (page 180) Set Server Info Text The Set Server Info Text option defines reference information for the server. The setting is blank by default. • Server Name defines a two-line name identifying the server. A maximum of 14 characters can be entered on each line. • Server Asset Tag defines a two-line asset tag to identify the server. A maximum of 16 characters can be entered on each line. • Server Primary OS defines a three-line description of the primary OS of the server. A maximum of 14 characters can be entered on each line. • Other Text defines two lines of additional text describing the server. A maximum of 14 characters can be entered on each line.
